Welcome To My Portfolio

Hello! Welcome to my artist portfolio. My name is Ioan Tadhg Jones and I'm a Fine Art student based in North Wales, currently specialising in printmaking and photography. I have created this portfolio to showcase my explorations into my practices, as well as display different pieces that I’ve created within my other interests and disciplines of ceramics, installation, and design. My work is heavily driven by my openness to new ways of working, often utilising my own photography and past projects as points of reference to further develop my artistic practice.

I enjoy exploiting simple yet bold uses of colour and line in my work, combining my experience and interests in art & design with my artistic practice to further develop myself. Much of my work's inspiration stems from the rural landscapes of my Welsh upbringing, as well as my interests in music, literature, and mid-century art & design movements. These influences work to inform my process and help me create work that is both personal and reflective.
